Pastor Larry McReynolds serves as founding Pastor of King of Glory Lutheran Church of New Kent County in Providence Forge, Virginia. In 2002, he was Called to serve King of Glory Lutheran Church in Williamsburg as Director of Music and Outreach Ministries. Following graduation from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis and ordination in 2012, he served as Associate Pastor for New Kent Ministries and Site Pastor for the New Kent Campus. King of Glory Lutheran Church of New Kent County was Chartered in September, 2018, and Pastor Larry was Called to serve as their founding Pastor. Pastor Larry has served in a variety of ministries spanning over four decades in both Virginia and his native New York as a Pastor, Church Musician, Youth Minister, Teacher and Christian Camp and Retreat Center Executive Director. He has served the wider Church as Circuit Visitor of Circuit 12 (Tidewater Region), as a church musician at conferences and conventions, workshop and retreat leader as well as a member of several Boards of Directors. He is married to his wife Ruth, who met while they were both students at Concordia College in Bronxville, New York. They have four children: Matthew (married to Desiree) of Woodbury, MN; James (married to Abby) of Queensbury, NY; Sarah (married to Kevin Philips) of Falls Church, VA; and Peter (college student at Virginia Commonwealth University). He and Ruth are also grandparents to Declan, Vivienne and Rory (the most AWESOME kids EVER!)

REV. Adam Gray
ASSISTANT PASTOR
Pastor Adam and Melissa Gray joined King of Glory - New Kent in May 2013. He has served as Deacon, Vicar (since January 2020), and Assistant Pastor (2022-present.) He assists leading Worship and with pastoral care and Coordinates Christian Education for adults. He is currently attending seminary at Concordia Seminary St Louis as part of the Specific Pastoral Ministry fall 2019 cohort. After completing two years of study in the four-year program with excellence, he was certified by the Seminary for pastoral placement. He was Ordained and Installed as Assistant Pastor of King of Glory on April 30, 2022. Pastor Adam works full time for the Department of Defense and is a retired Naval Officer. He and his wife Melissa have three children Shannon (Pete) Moore, Alexandria VA, Alexys (Brett) Flora, New Kent, and Jackson (Emily), Winston Salem, NC. He holds a BA from the University of North Florida, an MA in Theology from Liberty University, and an MS in Management from the University of Maryland.
In June of 2023, Pastor Adam and Melissa moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Pastor Adam is currently serving with to assist planting a new Church in southern Georgia. May the Lord bless them as they settle in Florida and continue to serve the Lord and His people!
