Sunday Worship...What to Expect

Church can be an intimidating place to visit - especially if you don't know what to expect.

We invite you to worship at King of Glory and hear what the Gospel means for us today as the Lord meets us on life's journey.  Come as you are!  You will be greeted by people who love the Lord and who love their neighbors.  We hope that, through hearing God's Word and spending some time among us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from being part of a community of people who love Jesus.

At all of our Sunday worship services, we gather around God's Word and hear preaching and teaching that applies that Word to our life right now.  We are reminded what God has done...and what He is still doing for us in Christ!  We rejoice together in song and praise.  We lift up our friends, neighbors and family in prayer.  We gather at the Altar to receive the Lord in Holy Communion.  We gather as those in the early Church did:

"And they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching (Word) and the fellowship,

to the breaking of bread (Sacrament), and the prayers."  (Acts 2:42)

Then, built up and nourished by the Word, we go out into our world to love and serve the Lord and our neighbors!
